Your supply chainin one view
Stock, orders and movements from every warehouse system, your ERP and on-site devices, combined in one tested data model. Dashboards put every site side by side, and where it adds value, a digital twin models your warehouses and flows.

- One model for all warehouses
- Data from each warehouse system, your ERP and devices on one agreed model, so every region uses the same definitions.
- From boardroom to warehouse floor
- Management dashboards, live views for the teams on site and, where useful, a digital twin, all built on the same figures.
- Figures that match every system
- Each extraction is checked against its source, so the combined view matches every warehouse system.
The problem
Stock and order data is scattered across warehouse systems
Growth, acquisitions and regional choices leave many organisations with several warehouse systems next to the ERP. Each holds part of the picture, but none holds all of it. So the overall view is rebuilt by hand in a spreadsheet, refreshed too rarely and questioned in every management meeting.
Common symptoms
The same figure exists in several versions, depending on whose export you open
Planners and site managers decide on an overview that is already out of date
Every question across sites goes to the one or two people who know where the data sits
What this costs you
Sites and regions define figures differently, so the board compares numbers that do not add up
Decisions fall back on experience and phone calls, and problems on the floor surface too late
Plans for dashboards, digital twins or AI have no reliable data to build on
The Supply Chain Management framework
A supply chain you can see and steer
We build supply chain visibility in three stages. Connect pulls the data from every warehouse system, your ERP and on-site devices. Combine maps it onto one agreed, tested model. See and steer brings it to the people who decide.
Stage 1, Connect
Focus
Extract stock, location, order and movement data from each warehouse system, your ERP and connected devices, without changing how those systems run.
Key outputs
Extraction code per source, managed devices on site and a source map per site and region.
Stage 2, Combine
Focus
Map every source onto one shared model of sites, products, stock and orders, so a figure means the same thing in every region.
Key outputs
A shared data model, a sensor data store and row-by-row tests per source.
Stage 3, See and steer
Focus
Give management, planners and the warehouse floor what each needs to see, from board dashboards to live operations, all drawn from the same data.
Key outputs
Board and management dashboards, live floor views and, where agreed, a digital twin.
Capabilities
What we deliver
Everything needed to turn separate warehouse, ERP and device data into one supply chain view, from extraction to digital twin.
Warehouse system integration
Stock, location, order and movement data pulled from each warehouse system and your ERP, standard or custom-built. Where no standard connector exists, we build one.
One supply chain data model
Every system mapped onto one agreed model of sites, products, stock and orders, built on Azure Databricks, so regions compare like for like.
Management dashboards
Power BI dashboards for management and the board, with one definition per figure, so every site and region reports the same way.
Live operational monitoring
Near-real-time Grafana dashboards of operational and sensor data, for teams on the floor who need to see what is happening now.
Connected devices
The devices that capture data on site, set up and managed centrally at scale, for example through Azure IoT Hub.
Digital twin of the supply chain
An optional digital model of your warehouses and flows, fed by the same data as the dashboards and built by data, app and 3D specialists.
Where it creates value
Who benefits most
Practical value for the teams that carry the most complexity.
Operations and supply chain leadership
COOs and supply chain directors who need one picture across sites and regions.
- Stock, orders and movements from every site in one view
- Regions compared on the same definitions, not on separate exports
- Board figures drawn from one controlled set of numbers
Warehouse and logistics operations
Site and logistics managers who run the floor day to day.
- Near-real-time dashboards of operational and sensor data
- Connected devices managed centrally, not one by one
- A digital twin of a site or the whole chain, where useful
Finance and regional management
Controllers and regional managers who report on stock and operations.
- Dashboards on one data model instead of the copied spreadsheet
- Site and region figures on the same definitions as the group total
- Reports refreshed from the source systems instead of rebuilt by hand
Data and IT
Heads of data and IT teams who keep the platform running.
- One Azure and Databricks platform instead of separate exports per system
- Pipelines built with templates and CI/CD, and tested against each source
- Documentation, courses and pairing so your own people can run it
Less relevant if...
When another route will serve you better.
- You run one warehouse system and its own reports already answer your questions
- You mainly need machine or device data booked into your ERP, warehouse system or other software: see IoT & Hardware Integration
- You are selecting a new warehouse system, not combining the data of the ones you run
- You need demand forecasting or optimisation models built: see AI & Automation, which builds on the data this package delivers
How it works
A practical delivery approach
Every engagement follows a clear path from diagnosis to delivery and handover.
Scope
On site, with operations, planning and the data team, we map every warehouse system, ERP, spreadsheet and device that holds supply chain data, and agree which questions the first dashboards must answer.
Source map per site and region, agreed requirements and a phased plan.Design
We design the data architecture: how each warehouse system maps onto one shared supply chain model, where operational and sensor data is stored and what each dashboard shows.
Architecture design, shared supply chain data model and dashboard designs.Build and test
We build the extractions in Python and Azure Function Apps, the combined model and the dashboards and, where agreed, the device set-up and digital twin. Extracted data is tested row by row against each source.
Working pipelines, the combined model, dashboards and test results per source.Acceptance
You sign off against the checks agreed in scoping: data complete per source, figures matching each warehouse system and the dashboards answering the agreed questions. Anything not yet right is fixed before go-live.
Sign-off against the agreed checks and a planned go-live.Hypercare and handover
After go-live, the experts who built the solution stay on hand. We hand over the documentation, run Power BI and Databricks courses and pair with your team, aiming for three internal people per critical component.
Handover documents, trained users and maintainers and, if you want it, an SLA for ongoing support.
Proof & trust
Results that speak for themselves
One model for all warehouses
Data from each warehouse system, your ERP and devices on one agreed model, so every region uses the same definitions.
From boardroom to warehouse floor
Management dashboards, live views for the teams on site and, where useful, a digital twin, all built on the same figures.
Figures that match every system
Each extraction is checked against its source, so the combined view matches every warehouse system.
Example engagement
What it looks like when it works
How an engagement like this typically runs. An illustration, not a client result.
Context
Example: a distribution organisation with warehouses in several countries, each running its own warehouse management system next to a shared ERP.
Challenge
Management builds a monthly overview from exports of each system in one spreadsheet. Each system defines stock and order status in its own way, so regional figures do not match.
Solution
We scope on site with each region and design one model of sites, products, stock and orders on Azure Databricks. Extractions pull the data from each warehouse system and the ERP, tested row by row against the source. Power BI dashboards for management follow, then hypercare and handover.
What you get
Combined supply chain model
Stock, orders and locations from every warehouse system in one tested model, on the same definitions.
Management dashboards
Power BI reports per site, region and group, all built on the combined model.
Handover and training
Documentation of the extractions, model and dashboards, plus courses for the team that takes over.
Context
Example: a manufacturer with several sites that wants a live view of stock and equipment on the floor, starting with a digital twin of one site.
Solution
We set up and manage the on-site devices, store their data in PostgreSQL, combine it with stock and movements from the warehouse system and build Grafana dashboards for the floor. A digital twin of the first site is fed by the same data.
What you get
Managed device fleet
The devices that capture site data, set up so they can be managed and updated centrally.
Live floor dashboards
Near-real-time views of operational and sensor data for the teams on site.
Site digital twin
A digital model of the first site, ready to extend to other sites.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered
Yes, that is what this package is for, whichever warehouse systems and ERP you run. We extract data from each of them and build the connector ourselves where no standard one exists. We then map it onto one agreed supply chain model and test the result against every source.
No. We read data from the systems you run and leave them in place, so existing processes and reports keep working while the combined model is built. If a system is reaching end of life, it is easier to replace later, because the dashboards read from the model rather than from that system.
Access to each source system and someone who knows it, time from the people who will use the dashboards during scoping, and a product owner who can settle definitions. The platform runs in your own Azure environment, so we need access to it or approval to set it up. For devices, we also need access to the sites where they are installed.
No. A digital twin is an option when a visual model of your sites and flows adds value beyond dashboards. We advise starting with the combined data and dashboards. The twin uses the same data and can be added in a later phase.
It does not include forecasting models. It delivers the combined, tested data and the dashboards that show stock, orders and movements across sites, which is the base any forecast needs. If forecasting is a goal, tell us during scoping so the data model is designed with it in mind.
In fixed-price phases agreed after scoping, each ending with live results, a demo and handover documents. After hypercare, support can continue under Managed Services, as an SLA for pipelines, devices and dashboards or as a subscription for the dashboards and apps we deploy. Extra consulting is billed by the hour. Azure and Power BI costs run on your own Microsoft bill.
You own your data, your client-specific code and the documentation. SolvX keeps the rights to its generic building blocks; the contract sets out the details. The platform runs in your own Azure environment, and our courses and pairing aim for three of your own people per critical component, so your team can run it without us.
When one warehouse system already gives you the full picture, when you mainly need machine or device data booked into your ERP, warehouse system or other software (our IoT & Hardware Integration package), or when you are choosing a new warehouse system rather than combining the data of the ones you run.
